Week 5 Somehow...
Kamusta po everyone!
I hope y'all are having an amazing time back home. The MTC is so crazy this last week was definitely the best week thus far.
Monday:
Monday morning we had a MTC wide cleanse to prepare for General Conference. It was fun and really made General Conference a better experience. Me and my comp Elder Grow also had our First Tagalog HOA today which was honestly such a humbling/fun experience. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement but it was good to get it over with.
Tuesday:
Tuesday marked 1 month of being a missionary! Feels like an eternity but it has honestly been the best month of my life. Nothing crazy happened though because it was p-day so we just did the normal p-day activities, laundry called the fam, and played some sand volleyball. That night we had our Devotional and Hans T. Boom of the Seventy talked to us. His message was amazing, "If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you"
Wednesday:
Not going to lie nothing much happened today.
Thursday:
I started learning the First Vision in Tagalog which is going well. We also had our Last workshop today. I don't remember any of it.
Friday:
Was literally just Tagalog all day.
Saturday:
GENERAL CONFERENCE! This is the first time in my life that I have actually sat through an entire session of General Conference which honestly was amazing. My Favorite talk given Saturday was given by Karl D. Hirst. He said "Let's get full on the love of Christ."

Sunday:
GENERAL CONFERENCE PART 2! This morning I decided to go into a conference with some questions in mind. I don't think that there was a single bad talk that day; they all gave amazing messages. The main thing that answered all my questions though wasn't even a talk but a hymn. Hymn 136 to be exact. "I know that my redeemer Lives." This is my favorite hymn for a number of reasons. And ever since I have been a missionary starting with Home MTC when I was at a low point and asked God questions and he responded that next Morning in class when we sang my favorite hymn, "I know my redeemer Lives." When I first got to the Provo MTC and was trying to find what I was doing He responded, "I know my redeemer Lives." Going into Sunday Morning Conference with a page full of questions prayerfully seeking for answers He again hit me with "I know my redeemer Lives." As soon as they announced that as the opening hymn I knew that my questions didn't matter and were answered because I now know for a surety that My Redeemer Lives and through Him everything and anything is Possible!
I love y'all so much! I pray for y'all daily! I miss St. George but definitely not the heat. I only have 4 more weeks here at the MTC before they ship me off.
