Wassup yall! Another week in the books. Officially 1 cycle done in the field. This week was a really good week too.

Monday we went golfing here on the island and it was so dope. It was a dope course, nothing crazy but the hazards were cows which was funny. Once we got there it started to just absolutely pour down rain so we just played through it 🤣. The rain was actually nice though it kept us cool.

Tuesday was just basically a travel day. We had DCM in Buenavista which is a 2 hour jeep ride and then 2 hour DCM then 2 hours back. We extended to Tatay Apollo too.

Went on exchanges with Elder Fuhriman in Buenavista Friday. He is only on his 2nd cycle 💀. It was a great time though. We got 10 teachings in and survived the day.

Saturday we had a great teaching day. I also Finished the Book of Mormon that night. I started it November 14th and made it my goal for this cycle to finish it. I absolutely love that book. Actually reading it has been really fun. I also wrote my talk for Sunday.

Sunday me and Elder Pogai had to speak in Sacrament. I spoke about the Book of Mormon and its importance in our life.
The Prophet Ezra Taft Benson said "The Nephites never had the book; neither did the Lamanites of ancient times. It was meant for us. Mormon wrote near the end of the Nephite civilization. Under the inspiration of God, who sees all things from the beginning, he abridged centuries of records, choosing the stories, speeches, and events that would be most helpful to us."
I would like to add my own testimony to President Benson's, that this book is really meant for us and when we read looking for the things that the Lord put in it for us we will find it.

Penny's 2 cents - I asked for more pictures because, they are supposed to have transfers this week and they share a phone. I wanted to see if his comp had some good pictures or videos.  It's different because they have one phone between the two of them.  we've never had to share before. I know they took a Zone picture. Hopefully I can get it. If so I'll add it.

 He made it!  I can't wait until Sunday night to hear how it really went and all the adventures it took to get them all there.  But, this much I know...They left around 11:30 on a bus to the Trax Station where they got on in Provo and went straight up to the airport.  Sophie jumped on in Lehi and travelled with them all.  She took him some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies.  They got up to airport, checked in their luggage, and went through security without any problems that I know of.  They had until 6pm to eat and play some games.  I sent a mini Bop-It, Simon and some UNO Cards for them to play while they waited.  They all got on without any problems and flew to LAX.  This is where it all gets sketchy...   Kamusta po everyone! Yeah so sorry for not emailing last week kinda caught up with everything here at the mtc but im chilling now. Anyways, I'll try to catch you all up to speed. Home MTC Home mtc was a blessing. I loved getting to know my Companion and my district over zoom before in person because I am mad awkward. My Companion is Elder Grow, He is from Morgan Utah, he plays soccer and is such a dope dude. My district is so cool I will probably talk about them a lot in the following weeks. But home mtc was nice the first day was such a spiritual high it was amazing. That next week was cool. There were definitely some ups and downs but having the constant companion of the holy ghost is such a surreal feeling and is something I hope stays with me for the rest of my life.   Hello po! What's up y'all. Hope you all are doing well! The MTC has been such a fun experience thus far. This last week was definitely a rollercoaster but it was all good. So Tuesday night we had our Big Devotional we have every Tuesday. This week's Devotion was amazing, Brian K. Taylor from the Quorum of the Seventy came and talked to us. His messages were truly amazing. He shared a quote from President Ezra Taft Benson: "If you have the Spirit (Holy Ghost) in your life, you will achieve your righteous desires. And if you don't you won't!" I just thought that this quote was truly amazing and so simple that I would share. We have another Devotional Tonight and we are all super excited because this weekend is General Conference so we have a hunch that it might be one of the 12 tonight since they should all be in town!!   Wednesday was a long day.
