Ride - HYBS

 I suck at emailing yall im not going to lie. Anyways hope yall had an amazing week. Here's how mine went.


Monday

We traveled to Lucena for Zone Conference in the morning which is on the main island so we had to catch a 3 hour boat ride which was dope. Then we went straight to S&R which is basically the Costco of the philippines there literally the same. Then we went to SM which is just a massive mall and stayed there for like 7 hours. Played arcade, Shot some bows, Bought stuff and ate Dairy Queen 😁.


Tuesday

Had Zone Conference which was dope. I got to see some of batch mates which was fun. Zone Conference itself wasn't the craziest just workshops. There was a little Christmas presentation for this Zone Conference which was cool. Some missionaries sang. That night me and my batch mates traveled to the mission home because we had to go to Manila the next day for our visa stuff. Got to the mission home and saw the whole batch it was nice to see all of them again and catch up. It was even better because we got to go to McDonald's 🤪. Still gas!


Wednesday

We traveled to Manila and the other missionaries in my district from the mtc were there that are in other missions. It was really nice to see them and know how they are doing. The rest of that day was just traveling back to Marinduque which took all day about 8 hours 💀. Then stayed in Mogpog for the night.


The rest of the week

It rained a lot this week so it was really hard to go out and teach but we were able to still get a lot done. We had DCM friday morning. Friday night we watched a dance competition which was dope. Also Boac is the capital of Marinduque and the 444th year celebration is going on so they're doing a lot of celebration which is really fun.

Time Travel to the Philippines

 He made it!  I can't wait until Sunday night to hear how it really went and all the adventures it took to get them all there.  But, this much I know...They left around 11:30 on a bus to the Trax Station where they got on in Provo and went straight up to the airport.  Sophie jumped on in Lehi and travelled with them all.  She took him some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies.  They got up to airport, checked in their luggage, and went through security without any problems that I know of.  They had until 6pm to eat and play some games.  I sent a mini Bop-It, Simon and some UNO Cards for them to play while they waited.  They all got on without any problems and flew to LAX.  This is where it all gets sketchy... I'm alive I promise

  Kamusta po everyone! Yeah so sorry for not emailing last week kinda caught up with everything here at the mtc but im chilling now. Anyways, I'll try to catch you all up to speed. Home MTC Home mtc was a blessing. I loved getting to know my Companion and my district over zoom before in person because I am mad awkward. My Companion is Elder Grow, He is from Morgan Utah, he plays soccer and is such a dope dude. My district is so cool I will probably talk about them a lot in the following weeks. But home mtc was nice the first day was such a spiritual high it was amazing. That next week was cool. There were definitely some ups and downs but having the constant companion of the holy ghost is such a surreal feeling and is something I hope stays with me for the rest of my life. Not much really happened during this week, it was really just to get to know my district. Provo MTC 1st week!   Hello po! What's up y'all. Hope you all are doing well! The MTC has been such a fun experience thus far. This last week was definitely a rollercoaster but it was all good. So Tuesday night we had our Big Devotional we have every Tuesday. This week's Devotion was amazing, Brian K. Taylor from the Quorum of the Seventy came and talked to us. His messages were truly amazing. He shared a quote from President Ezra Taft Benson: "If you have the Spirit (Holy Ghost) in your life, you will achieve your righteous desires. And if you don't you won't!" I just thought that this quote was truly amazing and so simple that I would share. We have another Devotional Tonight and we are all super excited because this weekend is General Conference so we have a hunch that it might be one of the 12 tonight since they should all be in town!!   Wednesday was a long day.
