Heavenly Father. - Montell Fish


Happy New Year yall! 2025 now is crazy.

Hope yall had a great new year. Here were some highlights of my week.


Monday I ate so much food. 

Tuesday I pooped all of that food out 🤣. It was a rough day for sure. I woke up 3 times in the night with straight diarrhea. I didn't work much this day. I ended up pooping 10 times and yes I counted. New years was fun. Here in the Philippines they just make a ton of noise not really just fireworks. These motorcycles drove by and revved really loud.


Wednesday and Thursday I went on exchanges with Elder Santos ho is my Kabahay (housemate). He's on his first cycle and only speaks tagalog so it was a fun 2 days. We were still able to get a lot of teachings in.


Friday we finally killed the rat in our house. We trapped inside the bathroom and then mashed it with a bat lol.


Saturday wasn't a lot of work. We had an FHE which is always a lot of fun. Then we went to a members and they feed us and we watched The Chosen. 


Sunday we had our first baptism here in Pagbilao. We got to baptize little bro Zyron. He's the goat fr.

Time Travel to the Philippines

 He made it!  I can't wait until Sunday night to hear how it really went and all the adventures it took to get them all there.  But, this much I know...They left around 11:30 on a bus to the Trax Station where they got on in Provo and went straight up to the airport.  Sophie jumped on in Lehi and travelled with them all.  She took him some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies.  They got up to airport, checked in their luggage, and went through security without any problems that I know of.  They had until 6pm to eat and play some games.  I sent a mini Bop-It, Simon and some UNO Cards for them to play while they waited.  They all got on without any problems and flew to LAX.  This is where it all gets sketchy... Apparently, we all forgot to tell them that they just needed to go straight to their new gate, because they somehow went out, maybe got lost, maybe thought they had to pick up their luggage?  I do not know. I'm alive I promise

  Kamusta po everyone! Yeah so sorry for not emailing last week kinda caught up with everything here at the mtc but im chilling now. Anyways, I'll try to catch you all up to speed. Home MTC Home mtc was a blessing. I loved getting to know my Companion and my district over zoom before in person because I am mad awkward. My Companion is Elder Grow, He is from Morgan Utah, he plays soccer and is such a dope dude. My district is so cool I will probably talk about them a lot in the following weeks. But home mtc was nice the first day was such a spiritual high it was amazing. That next week was cool. There were definitely some ups and downs but having the constant companion of the holy ghost is such a surreal feeling and is something I hope stays with me for the rest of my life. Not much really happened during this week, it was really just to get to know my district. Provo MTC 1st week!   Hello po! What's up y'all. Hope you all are doing well! The MTC has been such a fun experience thus far. This last week was definitely a rollercoaster but it was all good. So Tuesday night we had our Big Devotional we have every Tuesday. This week's Devotion was amazing, Brian K. Taylor from the Quorum of the Seventy came and talked to us. His messages were truly amazing. He shared a quote from President Ezra Taft Benson: "If you have the Spirit (Holy Ghost) in your life, you will achieve your righteous desires. And if you don't you won't!" I just thought that this quote was truly amazing and so simple that I would share. We have another Devotional Tonight and we are all super excited because this weekend is General Conference so we have a hunch that it might be one of the 12 tonight since they should all be in town!!   Wednesday was a long day.
