 What up gang! Hope all is well. We got one more full week of this cycle, its flying by fr. But here are some highlights from this last week!


Finally got to play basketball again which was a dub. I have no idea if im getting better or not, but I was cooking these kids here and the Elders. I still haven't bought shoes yet but I will eventually.


This week has been kinda hard because my comp E. Tuiatua had to go to Manila for visa stuff so I was with the other Elders for the day. And E. Tuiatua got sick and hurt his foot so it was just slow. But we still had an amazing week and found many of the elect with the time we had.


I restarted the BOM as I study D&C too. I want a better understanding of the stories and teachings in it. Pres. talked to me about having Seership as I read. Imagining myself in the story and finding the deeper understandings of each verse in every chapter. Its been really helpful so far and I encourage you all to give it a try.


We also saw Grimmace at McDonalds. It was the weirdest thing. He kinda just appeared lol.


Spiritual Thought: "Faith"

Every year, As a family we each choose a word to help guide us throughout the year. Lately this has been pondering in my mind, through Prayer and Study I found my word "Faith." To be honest, being a missionary isn't easy, but I know normal life is much harder. Throughout life we go through many challenges and trials. A lesson I am coming to understand more completely is that "Life is not a Sprint its a Marathon." Sometimes we move way to fast, think to fast, and do to fast, which leads us down a bad pit of stress and emotions. Something I've been recently realizing is that we shouldn't stress or worry about the little or big things in our lives. What matters is our "Faith." Having "Faith" helps us overcome the little and big things. I have realized, with Faith in Jesus Christ, I know that there truly is a Plan for me, everything happens for a reason. I know I have been Redeemed through Faith. I know I can live forever in a state of eternal happiness with my family, through Faith. I invite all of you, to deepen your "Faith." Test it, "Faith is not Faith if never tested. " - Utchdorf

I know that with Faith everything and anything is possible.

Time Travel to the Philippines

 He made it!  I can't wait until Sunday night to hear how it really went and all the adventures it took to get them all there.  But, this much I know...They left around 11:30 on a bus to the Trax Station where they got on in Provo and went straight up to the airport.  Sophie jumped on in Lehi and travelled with them all.  She took him some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies.  They got up to airport, checked in their luggage, and went through security without any problems that I know of.  They had until 6pm to eat and play some games.  I sent a mini Bop-It, Simon and some UNO Cards for them to play while they waited.  They all got on without any problems and flew to LAX.  This is where it all gets sketchy... I'm alive I promise

  Kamusta po everyone! Yeah so sorry for not emailing last week kinda caught up with everything here at the mtc but im chilling now. Anyways, I'll try to catch you all up to speed. Home MTC Home mtc was a blessing. I loved getting to know my Companion and my district over zoom before in person because I am mad awkward. My Companion is Elder Grow, He is from Morgan Utah, he plays soccer and is such a dope dude. My district is so cool I will probably talk about them a lot in the following weeks. But home mtc was nice the first day was such a spiritual high it was amazing. That next week was cool. There were definitely some ups and downs but having the constant companion of the holy ghost is such a surreal feeling and is something I hope stays with me for the rest of my life.   Hello po! What's up y'all. Hope you all are doing well! The MTC has been such a fun experience thus far. This last week was definitely a rollercoaster but it was all good. So Tuesday night we had our Big Devotional we have every Tuesday. This week's Devotion was amazing, Brian K. Taylor from the Quorum of the Seventy came and talked to us. His messages were truly amazing. He shared a quote from President Ezra Taft Benson: "If you have the Spirit (Holy Ghost) in your life, you will achieve your righteous desires. And if you don't you won't!" I just thought that this quote was truly amazing and so simple that I would share. We have another Devotional Tonight and we are all super excited because this weekend is General Conference so we have a hunch that it might be one of the 12 tonight since they should all be in town!!   Wednesday was a long day.
