Waiting - Lauren Daigle

What up Gang! Hope all is well with whatever you are doing. Hope yall had an amazing week. I actually did something this week, soo...

For starters last Monday we had our District P-Day. We went to the falls here in Sariaya, it was dope. The only down side to the whole thing was that it was raining basically the whole time and I didn't bring an umbrella lol. Basically felt like I went swimming. I crossed the rocks near the falls and ate it on some rock. We came home and I took a fat nap.

Went on exchanges with the other Elders in our District. I went on exchanges with Elder Haymore from my MTC District. It was super fun. Neither one of us are really that great at tagalog but we made it work 🤣. We taught what we knew how to teach. We also had 14 teachings, so not to bad for two, third cycle missionaries learning a language I guess.

On Valentines day there was a ton of people out and about. It was just like any other day but I thought what better way to show God's Love than to hand out flowers to random Nanny's and Sister's. Especially being an American in the Philippines. I was picking flowers off bushes and bought 400 pesos worth of flowers to hand out. It was a fun day to say the less

The weather here is absolutely crazy. We are located between Mt. Banahaw and the Ocean. Some days it will be clear sky's in the morning and by lunch it will be pouring down rain. But that's the fun part of it.
We also finally got the Roxas Family to come to church. W. Also I weigh like 185 for anyone who is wondering.

Spiritual Thought: Patience
Patience is a Christlike Attribute, that allows us to trust in God's perfect timing. It's a reminder that our journey is not a sprint, but a marathon that requires endurance and "Faith." Patience teaches us to let go of our need for control and to surrender to the present moment. In the stillness of waiting, we can hear the whispers of God's guidance and wisdom. "Patience is not simply enduring; it is enduring well!” - Elder Ucthdorf. Patience isn't just for spiritual growth. It can also heal and uplift ourselves and those around us as we exercise and practice it everyday!

Love yall!    Pics  V
