A Change Is Gonna Come - T Pain

 What's up Gang! Hope all is well with yall and you've been enjoying this year. This year is going by quick and this cycle just flew by idk how it's already March. We get transfer news later tonight so that should be fun. Hit 6 months last week too. 4 months in the Philippines, kinda crazy.



This week was way chill. Monday we bought a basketball and played basically all day. A huge group of kids came and started playing to. We also had an FHE with our PBD's on Sunday. FHE's in the Philippines are goated. We also had one with a member on Monday. If you lose in the games you have to do a forfeit, I'll post it in my photos lol.


This week has been a great week on just getting better people into our teaching pool with a lot of finding and teaching a lot better. This cycle flew by fr, I have no feelings if I'm staying here or not cause that's what I thought the last 2 cycles 🤣.

Spiritual Thought: Church

We had the wonderful opportunity to gather for the groundbreaking ceremony of our new chapel in Sariaya on Saturday, they've had 5 different meeting houses here, over the last 30+ years. Was a surreal feeling to see these faithful members finally recieve their blessing, I also felt grateful for the reminder from Elder Alalan that the Church is not just a physical building, but a community of disciples united in our quest to follow Jesus Christ.



The scriptures teach us this, '...if they observe to do whatsoever I command them, the same is my church' (D&C 18:5).

It's about striving to follow Jesus' teachings in every aspect of our everyday lives, cultivating a deeper love for Him, and becoming instruments of His love and light to those around us. We should continue to build not just physical structures, but a community of saints who radiate Christ's love and transform lives.

 He made it!  I can't wait until Sunday night to hear how it really went and all the adventures it took to get them all there.  But, this much I know...They left around 11:30 on a bus to the Trax Station where they got on in Provo and went straight up to the airport.  Sophie jumped on in Lehi and travelled with them all.  She took him some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies.  They got up to airport, checked in their luggage, and went through security without any problems that I know of.  They had until 6pm to eat and play some games.  I sent a mini Bop-It, Simon and some UNO Cards for them to play while they waited.  They all got on without any problems and flew to LAX.  This is where it all gets sketchy... I'm alive I promise

  Kamusta po everyone! Yeah so sorry for not emailing last week kinda caught up with everything here at the mtc but im chilling now. Anyways, I'll try to catch you all up to speed. Home MTC Home mtc was a blessing. I loved getting to know my Companion and my district over zoom before in person because I am mad awkward. My Companion is Elder Grow, He is from Morgan Utah, he plays soccer and is such a dope dude. My district is so cool I will probably talk about them a lot in the following weeks. But home mtc was nice the first day was such a spiritual high it was amazing. That next week was cool. There were definitely some ups and downs but having the constant companion of the holy ghost is such a surreal feeling and is something I hope stays with me for the rest of my life.   Hello po! What's up y'all. Hope you all are doing well! The MTC has been such a fun experience thus far. This last week was definitely a rollercoaster but it was all good. So Tuesday night we had our Big Devotional we have every Tuesday. This week's Devotion was amazing, Brian K. Taylor from the Quorum of the Seventy came and talked to us. His messages were truly amazing. He shared a quote from President Ezra Taft Benson: "If you have the Spirit (Holy Ghost) in your life, you will achieve your righteous desires. And if you don't you won't!" I just thought that this quote was truly amazing and so simple that I would share. We have another Devotional Tonight and we are all super excited because this weekend is General Conference so we have a hunch that it might be one of the 12 tonight since they should all be in town!!   Wednesday was a long day.
