Wassup yall! Hope yall have had an amazing week! I miss yall so much. It's definitely different here but sooner or later I'll learn to love it for real. This week was really nothing crazy. Monday we went and played basketball against our ZL's and got cooked. We lost 11-13. Then I finally got to kick a rugby ball again. We went to a field and just messed around it was mad fun. Tuesday was a slow day of work. We had District Counsel Meeting in the morning which was gas because the Senior missionaries fed us. But the rest of the day was literally just walking. Not gonna lie that's how most of this week was, I don't think i’ve walked this much in my life lol. Wednesday we went on exchanges with the Elders in Buenivista. Buenivista currently is only a group and the Elders there are the first ones ever and they are opening the area. It was so fun to go and share the Gospel to these people who have never had a chance before to hear it. Me and Elder Sampson, our DL had 20...

Yooooo, whats up yall! Hope yall have had an amazing week. I miss yall a lot. Officially been here in the Philippines for about a week and a half. I think that makes me native or something like that. This week has really been such a humbling experience but in a good way. The people here don't have a lot but they make do with what they got and its so amazing to see hoe they still have smiling faces. Its really nice to because they are all so caring to me and want me to speak Tagalog to them even though its super broken. Monday we drove to Santa Cruz on the other side of the island for my Comp Elder Pogai's baptisms. That was such a cool experience being able to see these kids make that first covenant with God. We also found a gym and have been going every day but lets be honest I don't think that's a surprise to anyone lol. This place is super funny because I am white all the girls freak out when they see me so I just wave to all of them and they just freak out more. It ...

This was the first picture we got.  David at the gym! We knew he was going to be fine! Wassup yall, I made it to the Philippines!! First off, this place is crazy. It still doesn’t feel real! Travel- We left the MTC last Tuesday around noon and took the bus to the train station that took us to the airport. We had about an 4 hour layover in Salt Lake so we ate some real food and played games and then took our flight to LAX. I just slept the whole time 💀. Then we were almost late for our flight to Manila because the line was crazy long and they kept having problems. Eventually made it through though. That flight was crazy the plane was massive and they fed us throughout the flight it was dope. Slept again but woke up still on the plane lol. Philippines- Landed in the Philippines around 4 A.M Manila time and we took pictures and said our goodbyes to our District mates going to different missions which was sad but also a great feeling knowing they are doing God’s work. Then took a bus ...

Time Travel to the Philippines

He made it!  I can't wait until Sunday night to hear how it really went and all the adventures it took to get them all there.  But, this much I know...They left around 11:30 on a bus to the Trax Station where they got on in Provo and went straight up to the airport.  Sophie jumped on in Lehi and travelled with them all.  She took him some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies.  They got up to airport, checked in their luggage, and went through security without any problems that I know of.  They had until 6pm to eat and play some games.  I sent a mini Bop-It, Simon and some UNO Cards for them to play while they waited.  They all got on without any problems and flew to LAX.  This is where it all gets sketchy... Apparently, we all forgot to tell them that they just needed to go straight to their new gate, because they somehow went out, maybe got lost, maybe thought they had to pick up their luggage?  I do not know. However, they ended up hav...

What's up yall! Sorry for not sending an email last week. I got caught up with a lot of stuff. But I am still alive, might not be in a week. Joke lang. I miss yall a lot and am going to miss yall more in the next week when I'm in a new country. This last week nothing crazy really happened. In classes we played a lot of games and did a lot of reviews just to make sure that we have a base knowledge of this ridiculous language so I don't freak out too much this next week. We did finally take our EI test which really doesn't help us at all. It's just a language assessment and we realized that no matter the score we're basically screwed the first couple weeks anyways because of how different the natives will speak it. Halloween was this last week but being at the MTC we didn't really celebrate it. Although our amazing Sisters in our district decorated our class room and gave us all a lot of candy. It was very nice of them. We had our testimony meeting with our t...
