WEEK 7 :(

Image
Wassup y'all!! 7 weeks just like that. It's been such a crazy experience thus far and continues to get crazier. Only 2 more weeks here before they ship me off and to say I'm nervous would be an understatement. I do not feel ready at all in a language aspect or gospel or culture. It is going to be such a humbling experience that I can not wait for. I am also beyond excited to actually start this journey of teaching the wonderful people of San Pablo! Tuesday- What a crazy day. We woke up early to go to the temple to do Endowments. The temple has a place in my heart that will never be touched. The joy of being in the temple to do the ordinances of those who are waiting for them beyond the veil is overwhelming. Going to the temple once a week with my friends back in St. Geezy was some of the best memories I have and being able to now do that here with my district as a set apart missionary it's amazing. I would invite all of you to go to the temple and make time for it ever...

Tuesday-  We finally got to go outside to go to the Provo City Center Temple and it didn't feel real. But Tuesday night after my p-day was over we had our General Authority Devotional and Kristin M. Yee the second councilor of Relief Society talked to us eight after she talked in Conference so we were all excited. She talked a lot about growth and to not get too comfortable where you are and always continue to grow. We had a district review after which was good. But like the title of the email says after our district review our branch president asked to talk to me and my comp and assigned us to be the ZL's of our branch till we leave. Wednesday- My tagalog is kinda clicking now. Me and Elder Caldon finally finished the first vision in Tagalog today and passed it off with sis Alves. In tutoring we now have 2 teachers so it is nice because they take half of the class each so its a little more personal and not as many people shouting in class. We got new roommates they...

Kamusta po everyone! I hope y'all are having an amazing time back home. The MTC is so crazy this last week was definitely the best week thus far.  Monday: Monday morning we had a MTC wide cleanse to prepare for General Conference. It was fun and really made General Conference a better experience. Me and my comp Elder Grow also had our First Tagalog HOA today which was honestly such a humbling/fun experience. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement but it was good to get it over with. Tuesday: Tuesday marked 1 month of being a missionary! Feels like an eternity but it has honestly been the best month of my life. Nothing crazy happened though because it was p-day so we just did the normal p-day activities, laundry called the fam, and played some sand volleyball. That night we had our Devotional and Hans T. Boom of the Seventy talked to us. His message was amazing, "If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you" Wednesday: Not g...

Hello po! What's up y'all. Hope you all are doing well! The MTC has been such a fun experience thus far. This last week was definitely a rollercoaster but it was all good. So Tuesday night we had our Big Devotional we have every Tuesday. This week's Devotion was amazing, Brian K. Taylor from the Quorum of the Seventy came and talked to us. His messages were truly amazing. He shared a quote from President Ezra Taft Benson: "If you have the Spirit (Holy Ghost) in your life, you will achieve your righteous desires. And if you don't you won't!" I just thought that this quote was truly amazing and so simple that I would share. We have another Devotional Tonight and we are all super excited because this weekend is General Conference so we have a hunch that it might be one of the 12 tonight since they should all be in town!!   Wednesday was a long day. We had a service project in the morning. It was mad chill. Me and my comp Elder Grow skipped breakfast bec...
